The Company is committed to corporate responsibility in order to enhance the value of its business. The nature of the business as well as market needs determine which issues are most relevant in addition to any minimum standards set by the Company. (An executive director is responsible for advising the main board on corporate responsibility matters).
The Company defines corporate responsibility as action taken by the Company which positively impacts on its customers, shareholders, employees, suppliers and the communities around our businesses, and which includes and goes beyond our legal or regulatory obligations. Examples of the Company’s commitment to corporate responsibility include:

- Investing for the long term to bring out the best in its people
- Acting as a responsible shareholder;
- Investing in its communities;
- Managing its environmental impacts;
- Maintaining effective health and safety management systems.
The Company is committed to reporting on its corporate responsibility policies and actions annually, which will enable others to judge the Company’s performance. In shaping the Company’s approach to corporate responsibility, it engages with business and non-business interest groups to ensure that we fully understand their expectations of the Company and to ensure that its policies and programmes address relevant issues.
We will always work in context of our customers’ business to ensure the principles of our Corporate Responsibility Policy remain relevant and consistent. An example of this commitment can be seen in the process of Criminal Record checks for all our employees engaged with the Education and MOD sectors specifically. Pertinent, customer engagement is a key priority.
In respect of the Community, the Company has made provision for each Employee to be entitled to 1 additional, fully paid day’s absence per annum, in order to undertake activities related to a cause – fundraising / non-profit charity / voluntary work. This demonstrates IP Integration’s commitment to our Corporate and Social Responsibility Policy and encourages employees to take up initiatives and challenges for worthy causes.

Giving back to the Community – Who we support
Restless Development invests in sustainable, innovative solutions that address the root causes of social challenges around the world. They do this by listening to and empowering young people, supporting them as they develop skills and take the lead to solve the challenges that face the communities in which they live. These are core values to IPI as well and are embedded in our business structure. Giving a voice to people and encouraging innovative problem solving are key components of IPI’s mission as a business.

The CSR team is currently made up of 10 volunteers from the IPI staff. We collaborate, brainstorm and make decisions together as to how we want to achieve our fundraising goals. The volunteers come from across the business, which is extremely beneficial because we have people with different perspectives and skill sets around a table working together to determine the best approach.
Our focus in the early days has been on smaller, internal events to raise awareness and generate interest. We will continue to have similar events throughout the year, but are now also focusing on some larger events that will be more lucrative for Restless Development. In addition to fundraising, we continuously consider how our overall CSR initiative can benefit the business through relationship development, branding and internal teamwork.
Name: Rest Less, Go Further – Get IPI to Uganda
Dates: January 2019
Goal: Cover the distance from London to Uganda (appx 6,000 kilometres)
Concept: Over the week, staff members will walk/cycle/run and add their distance to the pot. During the work week we’ll have events (lunch walks, after work cycle/run) if people want to participate in those, or just do what they would usually do and contribute their distance. We’ll pass out pedometers so people can track their distance even just walking around the office/running errands after work/etc. Friends and family of staff members can also donate their distance.
Over the weekend we’ll have static bikes set up in both offices and a video link between the two. The weekend will be the big push to the final goal. We’ll provide food both days, have competitions between the offices and include partners/clients.
Name: IPI New Office Opening Party
Dates: October 2018
Goal: Raise more money for Restless Development through partner donations and contributions and the opportunity to have some fun along the way.
We will be having an office party to celebrate our new office in Reading. Partners, Vendors and IPI customers will be invited to join us at the grand opening.
We will be having food, drinks, games and a raffle. Plenty of opportunities to make more money for Restless!
